The Basics

The following horizontal rules implementations are only viewable using the Netscape browser.
At this time (5-2-95) NCSAMosaic images this code as full screen width engraved horizontal rules of the same thickness.

Using Horizontal Rules: Netscape only.

Engraved Horizontal Rules:

SIZE is THICKNESS. Thickness is measured in points.

SIZE=6 (6-points)

SIZE=20 (20-points)

WIDTH is LENGTH. Percentage of screen that rule covers from left, right or center positioning.

ALIGN is LEFT or RIGHT or CENTER positioning

SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=LEFT

SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=RIGHT

SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=CENTER

Solid Horizontal Rules:

NOSHADE SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=LEFT

NOSHADE SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=RIGHT

NOSHADE SIZE=6 WIDTH=50% ALIGN=CENTER

Using Horizontal Rules WITHIN BLOCKQUOTE:

WIDTH of horizontal rule will be NOT BE BASED ON SCREEN WIDTH but on BLOCKQUOTE TYPE AREA.
WIDTH is LENGTH. Percentage of screen BLOCKQUOTE AREA that rule covers from left, right or center positioning.
ALIGN is LEFT or RIGHT or CENTER positioning
WIDTH=50% ALIGN=LEFT

WIDTH=50% ALIGN=RIGHT

WIDTH=50% ALIGN=CENTER
